This is a wonderful niche gaming website, specifically catering to game production, that I came across recently that I wanted to share with everyone.
Juuso Hietalahti, owner/operator of gameproducer.net, who has been making games since he was 10 years old, among many other things (http://www.gameproducer.net/about/), has created an empire of educational and promotional materials for game producers or anyone else that is serious about making games and topics surrounding game production.
It is not often that you view a website so cleverly crafted and full of appropriate detail. It’s been awhile since I’ve read a websites about statement, website introduction, and advertising information blurb and could truly say it was effective. I must say, Gameproducer.net's verbiage and content is very effective. As a gaming outsider, even I was interested. As if the website itself was a highly detailed and interactive game in the making, Juuso's site creatively covers several different angles covering game development, game design, game software tools and resources and very serious discussion about games, games, and games. As a fellow webmaster I was most impressed with all of this and appreciate the passion put into the site and it's content. While gameproducer.net can monetize this super useful website, network with others and trigger many business opportunities... the site remains most importantly a true asset to it's audience, something that is often missing these days.
