EmailSubdreamer .mobile
A thought that came to mind when checking up on all the recent buzz about the .mobi domain name rollout,,,, what if Subdreamer CMS could output .mobi compliant pages?
To me it is quite an abstract thought because I know little about programming nor am I even 100% taught on the mobile revolution but it's still a fun idea none the less.

Hostway Corporation is providing a .mobi Sitebuilder application to any customers that order a .mobi domain name... makes sense. With specific requirements for publishing a .mobi website, this could prove difficult for anyone who cannot code XHTML MP pages.
Dragonfly CMS has a hack/module that creates a XHTML MP compliant output of the Dragonfly forum.
What other content management systems can output XHTML MP?
Current XHTML, Mobile, & WAP systems are perhaps on way to no man's land so where do we go from here? I have seen a few website builders and mentions of modern mobile capability but many phones don't yet parse XHTML MP 1.0 perfect yet alone CMS applications but the future of handhelds apparently will be XHTML MP so who is on board? I don't have a use for a great mobile experience on any of my websites to date but as a web entrepreneur I would love to capitalize on the .mobi goldrush and fuss, I would like to capitalize of the 1.3 billion users that are expected to access the Internet on their handhelds,,, I just don't have a way to do it other then Hostway's Sitebuilder which itself is still in development.
What else is in development? What does one have to gain by developing .mobi site builders? It's quite a niche still as far as the publishing side of it goes but potentially a fully debugged, feature rich CMS will be developed just for .mobi standards and would thrive.
How about a scaled down version of Subdreamer, Subdreamer .MOBI ?
Open source applications will surely be flooding the web sometime soon but I still love my Subdreamer so whilist the thought was abstract or not, I had to share. ;)
For fun, here is a Microsoft Mobile Browser download so you can get a rough idea of what your site would look like in a mobile browser! ;)

Here is a screenshot of Gustoes.com in the Microsoft Mobile Explorer.
For a better emulator from dotmobi themselves, checkout Gustoes.com now.

Not much better, heh heh. Either way my site looks like crap on today's mobile browsers and will also look like crap in XHTML MP (.mobi) browsers.
